From the moment you arrive you’ll be greeted by people who are genuinely happy to see you. Sunday church services are designed to be enjoyed, and not endured, offering Bible-based messages that are engaging and relevant to people today. It’s a casual and friendly environment where everyone is welcome, and everyone can belong.
What time are your church services?
We gather every Sunday for our family-friendly service at 10am.

Our address is 346 Manchester Street, Christchurch Central City, Christchurch 8013. Get directions.
How long is church?
About 60 minutes. Stay after the service to connect and enjoy a hot drink with friends.
Car parking?

Can I bring my kids to church?
Yes. We have a parents room and dedicated children’s programme for kids during our regular Sunday church services.

What do I wear?
We want you to feel at ease and wear whatever you’re comfortable in. We usually dress casually.
Can I watch online?
Yes. Our sermons are streamed live every Sunday at 10:45am on Facebook and YouTube. Broadcast times vary somewhat depending on what the Holy Spirit has in store for us during the service.
What’s the music like?
We enjoy live music as part of our worship to God. Our family-friendly morning services are modern and vibrant, but not noisy. Check out our Spotify playlist for a range of songs we love.

City is a Pentecostal church and member of ACTS Churches New Zealand, which has over 60 churches across the country. We are connected with hundreds of Christian organisations worldwide, and enjoy periodic guest speakers who share our beliefs and passion for Jesus.
